Building a Liberation Space: Kinship, Healing, and Activism with Dr. Diana Alvarez

Saturday, · -

What does liberation feel like? How do we build space for liberation and healing in our current world? In this interactive presentation, multidisciplinary artist and scholar Dr. Diana Alvarez will offer a decolonizing, intersectional, and healing framework for anti-oppression work in our communities, classrooms, and beyond. This presentation will nourish and energize our creativity and collective, lifelong work to banish all forms of oppression from our planet. Dr. Alvarez will perform music/poetry as part of this presentation, and participants will be invited to develop their own artistic visions for liberation and healing.
