Let’s rethink the purpose and use of grading and consider the role of rubrics and feedback. We will discuss current research, unpack current grading habits, and share ideas for shifting our own grading practices. We will also cover grading in the remote teaching and learning environment. This webinar is based on the work of Thomas Guskey.

Jayme Hines, Ed.D. is an Assistant Professor of Education at Keene State College. Dr. Hines research interests include teacher preparation, faculty-student relationships, and social and emotional development of preschool children. She teaches Early Childhood and Elementary Education courses, and supervises and supports Early Childhood student teachers.
