New Faculty Focus: Taylor Dunne and Eric Stewart Thursday, March 5th at 7 p.m. The Putnam Theater (near The Redfern Arts Center), Keene State College Free Admission!

What does a people’s history of nuclear weapons look like? New KSC faculty members Taylor Dunne (TD) and Eric Stewart (ES) will present a ten minute work-in-progress excerpt of their collaborative experimental documentary Off Country. The project is a feature length documentary, podcast series and oral history archive documenting communities impacted by the nuclear weapons industry. In addition to their collaborative work they are both filmmakers in their own right and will be showing a survey of their respective works, many of which will be shown on 16mm¬. Works screened will include; Quaker City Home Movie: Pressing Cider (B/W, 16mm w/ direct sound, 3min,TD), Corn Mother (Color, 16mm, silent, 6min, TD) KATAH-DIN (Color, 16mm transferred to video, sound, 34mim, TD) Wake (B/W, 35mm transferred to 16mm, silent, 8min, ES); HARBOUR (Color, 16mm w/ optical sound, 15min ES); HELIOS (Color, 16mm with live modular sound synthesis, 6min, ES)
