[CANCELED] KSC Seminar Series: Artificial Intelligence Research Projects at KSC

Putnam Science Center - Room 101
Wednesday, · -

This event has been canceled.

Presented by Dr. Meenalosini Vimal Cruz: Artificial Intelligence is becoming predominant in every technology we use today, including self-driving cars, practical speech recognition, effective web search, and more. To meet the growing needs of today’s world, we can’t just rely on programming skill to solve some real-time problems. Machine learning helps us to solve these problems with the combination of big data, mathematical and programming skills. These skills direct us to Artificial Intelligence, which is becoming prevalent by unmatchable demand. In the past two years, we have been engaging in various AI-based research projects at Keene State, such as chatbot development for KSC, a computer-aided diagnosis tool for skin cancer and brain tumor analysis, computer vision tool development, and pain localization using brain computer interface. In this seminar, we will share some highlights of these Artificial Intelligence-based research projects.
