KSC Seminar Series: Is the Obesity Crisis Solvable?

Putnam Science Center - Room 101
Wednesday, · -

Presented by Dr. Stephen Clark: Despite more than a quarter century of focused attention and hundreds of billions of dollars of both medical treatments and research, the prevalence of overweight and obesity in the United States continues to increase. An increasing number of experts have begun to suggest that the obesity crisis is not solvable. This talk is a multidisciplinary research-based examination of the scope of the problem, approaches that have not worked, and newer approaches that may hold hope for the future.
