Government Service and Careers

Science 101
Tuesday, · -

Governments in one form or another - federal, state and local - affect our lives every day in many ways - the construction and maintenance of roads and schools, providing police and fire departments and the myriad of other governmental services that help make possible the lives we enjoy.. Governments are able to operate because of people - people who either serve in a voluntary capacity - think of our mayors, city councilors and school board members, as well as in a paid professional capacity such as (in mosts state but not NH!) our state legislators and our representatives in congress and other parts of the federal government. What is it like to serve - whether as a volunteer or as a professional - in government? To get answers to these and other questions, come hear a panel of KSC alums talk about their own experience in government.

This event is part of the Corporate Relations calendar.
