Come and see a musical star of tomorrow present a public exhibition of skill by performing for a live audience. Kirsten Becker, piano, will present her Junior Recital on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 in the Alumni Recital Hall, at 3:00pm.
Kirsten’s recital will highlight classical music from across Europe and the United States, spanning 300 years and featuring such great composers as Mozart, Liszt, Scarlatti, Ravel, and Barber. She’ll open the concert with a performance of Ravel’s popular “Sonatine”, which the composer originally wrote for a magazine contest in the early 1900s. She will also be performing one of her own compositions.
Admittance is free, and everyone is welcome. Kirsten invites all attendees to stay after the program for refreshments.
