Student Service Organizations
Want to get involved on campus while helping the community? You’re in the right spot! Keene State has four student-run service organizations that always welcome new members.
The Keene State Bigs Club is a student run organization affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire. The club assists students wishing to be matched with a little brother or little sister, organizes various events for matches such as holiday parties, pep rally’s at KSC basketball games, game nights, and more. Come to a meeting and share your ideas or just help out with an event.
Meetings: Wednesdays at 8PM in Atrium Conference Room
President: Kayla Koster
Circle K is a student organization that promotes community service through projects and fund raising. Part of Circle K International, it’s the world’s largest student-led collegiate service organization. Members have been active volunteers at Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption, supported Beautiful Lengths hair donation events, and adopted a street to keep Keene beautiful. Service projects and fund raising activities change every year based on the interests of members. In Circle K you can gain resume worthy skills, find lifetime friends and do community service that changes lives, including your own.

Habitat for Humanity

General members travel to help build and rehabilitate houses in partnership with Habitat affiliates and homeowners, educate the campus and community about affordable housing issues through annual poverty simulations and Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week events, and raise funds to support the work of Habitat for Humanity locally, nationally, and internationally. No experience is necessary!

Relay For Life
The journey to end cancer starts with a single step! Relay for Life of Keene State College features music, performances, the annual Beautiful Lengths hair donation event, Zumba, and a variety of games and activities. During Relay we also have special laps and ceremonies to honor cancer survivors and those currently affected by cancer, caregivers, and those we have lost. Join the leadership team to help plan the event, start a team, join a team, or make a donation. Every dollar we raise helps fund research, patient care and support, education and prevention. Since it began in 2010, Relay for Life of Keene State College has raised more than $226,000!
Register for the event on March 30
Meetings & Leadership Team Opportunities: Mondays at 8pm
