The Human Resource Summer Intern will work with a regional HR team on various moderate to complex projects focusing on the development of a college and entry level hiring program. Helping develop this program the Intern will gain hands on experience with some key facets of the HR world including job description writing, business presentation creation and delivery, customer engagement, training and development, new hire onboarding, and budgeting. The student will be allowed to influence and add to the successful completion of the project as well as support in its administration. Through the development of the college and entry level hiring project exposure to key management within the company will also be gained.
This Internship is geared toward those individuals seeking a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business respectively.
Student pursuing 4 year degree in HR or BA interested in joining HR field upon graduation. Student should be moving into Junior or Senior status in the Fall. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required including Power Point. Student needs to possess the ability to communicate in a clear manner both written and verbal. Student needs to display ability to organize activities and their day. Student will need to be prepared to interact with team members and other employees in a professional setting.
This is a paid internship. Rate: $16/hr.
