Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Safety audits of our projects. Audits will be detailed, correcting compliance issues during the visit and developing a report while onsite
Schedule and provide training for employees
Perform accident/incident investigations. Develop lessons learned for each accident/incident with field team/company in order to avoid it in the future
Assist in developing presentations for OSHA citation hearings
Review safety documentation submitted by subcontractors
Qualifications for the position are:
Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline
Knowledge of how to read/interpret OSHA Standards, EM 385-1-1, and other standards used throughout the industry
Strong computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
Ability to travel, as needed
