POSITION: Solidworks Training Course Engineering Interns Summer 2014

Hitchiner is seeking an engineering intern for this coming summer (May-August 2014).
The internship will be comprised of project-based assignments to include but not limited to the creation of a Solidworks training course to be used by Hitchiner employees. Throughout the summer, duties of the intern will include, but not be limited to the following:
? Work with Hitchiner staff to determine Solidworks training needs throughout the organization
? Create a detailed Solidworks training curriculum to train Hitchiner staff including:
o Layout technicians
o Lab department
? Tailor the course to meet Hitchiners requirements for:
o General orientation of software
o Interrogating models
o File format conversions
o Adding gates to part model for tooling quotes
o CAD mold definition for Procast solidification Models
? Develop course material defining chapters
? Utilize available resources such as Solidworks tutorials and YouTube instructional videos in developing the training course
? Train groups of individuals using the completed Solidworks training course
? Work with and learn about metrology from Metrology engineer
? Work to bring Hitchiner into compliance with Future R&R Sabre requirements for MSA
