Entry-Level Field Service Engineer
Our client, a leading provider of the ultimate high-definition theater experience for planetariums, museums and educational exhibits is seeking an Entry-level Field Service Engineer to install and repair complex multimedia systems in domed theaters worldwide. Position is located in Nashua, NH.
This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate with excellent verbal and written communication, math (geometry, algebra, and trigonometry), customer service, multi-tasking, troubleshooting and time management skills. On-the-job training and mentoring will be provided.
The ability to read schematics/block diagrams
Good hearing and eyesight (correctable) and the ability to discern colors
Reasonable strength and agility (some heavy lifting and scaffold climbing at heights is required)
Understanding of IT/networking, including the ability to install computers and run cables
Knowledge of Windows software
Be able to work well independently (with minimal supervision) and as part of a team
Some knowledge of electrical, mechanical, carpentry and masonry
Experience with video projection
Audio system experience
Foreign language skills
This position will require 70 - 90% travel (domestic and international), including some weekends and nights.
Associates or Bachelors degree in any engineering/technical discipline and one to three years experience in the AV Industry or a recent college graduate with an interest in field service, customer service, project management, systems engineering. A valid US passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
