Job Description

Our client, a dynamic, growing company in a cutting edge, highly creative industry is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join its small team developing the next generation of its flagship software. Located in the Merrimack NH area.

Must be a self-starter who can collaborate effectively and work independently to create state-of-the-art, world class user experiences for their international clientele.

Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience designing custom graphical user interfaces for desktop applications using Microsoft .NET languages, preferably C#. Experience working on multi-threaded applications is essential. The ability to quickly adapt and work from another engineers code is important.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of a .NET language using WPF and data binding concepts and design patterns. He/she will be adept at identifying ways of presenting complex systems in an easy-to-follow, user friendly and graphically efficient form. An aptitude for creating visually appealing graphical user interfaces is essential. A good intuition for software architecture, designing optimized algorithms and software design for long term product viability is important.

Candidates with experience using C/C++, VB.NET, developing mobile applications, database applications, automation or graphical editing systems, and with the love of tinkering with new technologies will be given special consideration.

Recent graduates/entry level will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate a special aptitude for transforming complex software user environments into an easy-to-follow and graphically efficient user interface. Additional consideration will be given to applicants with experience developing user interfaces for automation systems, audio or video editing systems, or similar timeline driven event based production systems.
