Job Description

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is looking for Technicians and Customer Service Advisors for our location on 420 West Street in Keene, NH. Part-time and Full-time Permanant & Summer Postions open.

No automotive industry experience is necessary--we are looking for ambitious individuals with a strong desire to learn and be great at what they do. We have an outstanding, standardized training program to ensure you have the tools to be successful. The training isn't just on how to take care of your customers' cars, but programs designed to help you have the skills to get promoted.

The skills you will learn at Valvoline Instant Oil Change allow you to provide fast, accurate and quality preventative maintenance services to customers who want to make their cars last longer than ever. Automotive experience a plus but not necessary and will consider energetic, hard working, and career oriented individuals with Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience -- but, you must have exceptional customer service skills to deliver on our commitment of world class customer satisfaction, possess good communication & interpersonal skills, and the drive and ambition to succeed in one of America's top Quick Lube operations.

As part of your training, you will learn:
-how to service a car, step-by-step (technicians)
-how to provide world class customer service (customer service advisors)
-how to be part of a team

Our Oil Change Technicians:
-Are comfortable working in varying temperature conditions
-Have a high sense of urgency and lots of energy
-Enjoy hands-on work
-Have basic computer skills
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
-Must have full body mobility: be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat, and go up and down stairs
-Work on their feet for extended periods of time with their hands above their head
-Enjoy face-to-face interaction with the public
-Master products, services, and company knowledge

Our Customer Service Advisors:
-Are comfortable working in varying temperature conditions
-Have a high sense of urgency, lots of energy and are self-motivated
-Possess a genuine love of working face-to-face with the public
-Have the ability to master products, services and company knowledge and share this with customers
-Can quickly evaluate a customer's personality and listen to determine the best approach for satisfying their needs
-Promote a positive and professional image through your appearance
-Have experience working on computers and have the ability to type, navigate and utilize a computer system
-Can work on their feet for extended periods of time
-Have an up-beat personality and are not afraid to smile!

Minimum Requirements:
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Driver's license
