Office of Multicultural Student Support and Success

About Us

Keene State’s Office of Multicultural Student Support and Success (OMSSS) works to enhance the academic and personal success of students from traditionally underrepresented populations, their allies, and all students who value equity, inclusion, and justice by providing support, mentoring, advocacy, outreach, consultation, and programming and events focused on a variety of social identities and experiences.

We offer ongoing weekly and monthly programming that is both social and educational, such as craft time, LGBTQ+ community group, international student discussion group, movie night, game break, and more. Located on the second floor of the L.P. Young Student Center, our office is a welcoming and comfortable space for students to come hang out, study, and build community. Some students see OMSSS as their home base and stop in every day. Pay us a visit and you’ll see why.

We inhabit a universe that is characterized by diversity.
—Desmond Tutu
