Heart of the Campus
When you’re a Keene State Owl, you’re a part of Owl Nation and you’ll often find our community at the heart of campus: the LP Young Student Center. Between classes and in the evenings, students hang out, study, or grab a snack at Starbucks, Lloyd’s Marketplace, the KSC Bookstore, or the Night Owl Café (home to our famous gyro-style Sizzler sandwich, open mic nights, and weekly bingo games). Student clubs and organizations often meet here, and we have 70+ to choose from including a radio station, student-run newspaper, student government, Greek life, community service groups, and more. You’ll also find the Office of Multicultural Student Support and Success, which serves as a touchstone for many students of color and LGBTQ+ students. There are dozens of ways to grow your personal interests, and everywhere you turn, you’ll meet new people and start building lifelong friendships.
