Dr. Ellen L. Nuffer

Dr Ellen L. Nuffer, Professor of Education, Emerita taught in the Education Department at KSC for 30 years. She focused on foundational courses in the department as well as in the Thinking and Writing program. She also taught the graduate level research and school law courses. Her doctoral degree is from Pennsylvania State University in school psychology and she worked as a licensed psychologist and school psychologist in preschools, elementary, middle and high schools in Pennsylvania and Vermont before coming to teach at KSC. Dr Nuffer's areas of scholarly interest included faculty development and assessment, both in higher education as well as in the schools. She served her Department as Chair on several occasions and her profession in APA governance. In retirement, she continues to consult with local schools and serves as a docent at The Clark Art Museum.
