We work closely with faculty and staff so that the college understands our needs and we understand the programs the college offers. Also, the college helps promote Hitchiner with its students through its Career Speaker Series, Job and Internship fairs and its Job Wise program. Keene State students come to Hitchiner for both internships and jobs, and they come well prepared. Keene State has excellent professional programs such as its Sustainable Product Design and Innovation as well as core sciences such as physics and chemistry where students get solid lab experience. Moreover, thanks to Keene State’s liberal arts core curriculum, students have well developed “soft skills” such as problem solving, oral and written communication, creative thinking and the ability to look at problems and opportunities from multiple perspectives.
