Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: 50 years since his death

It has been 50 years since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. On April 4, 1968 as Dr. King stood on the balcony of the Lorraine Hotel in Memphis, TN he was struck by a bullet that took his life. He was pronounced dead at 7:05 pm (EST) at the St. Joseph's Hospital.

Music was an essential part of the civil rights movement. It served to motivate, ignite and inspire.

Come listen to three amazing women as they pay tribute to Dr. King.
