Florentine Films is of the leading creators of historical documentary films including Vietnam, The Civil War and Jackie Robinson is based just north of Keene in Walpole, NH! This company has produced over 30 films and has received countless Emmy’s, Peabody Awards and other prestigious recognition. Founder [Ken Burns](http://kenburns.com/principals/ken-burns/), a major name in film making, was honored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. Numerous Keene State Students have interned at Florentine Films, some of whom have remained there and many of whom have gone on to successful careers in films elsewhere. Dan White, a Keene State alum, will be here to talk about Florentine and careers in the film business. Don’t miss this great opportunity!
