Voices of Terezín: Music and Witness

Mike Kelley, violist with Apple Hill String Quartet, performs at the Cohen Center lecture.

The Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies Memorial Lecture includes performances by Matthew Odell, José Lezcano, and guest artists Megan McCauley from Louisville, KY, and Mike Kelley from the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music, with a special message from Ella Weissberger, a Terezín camp survivor who sang in the camp performances of the children's opera Brundibar. This event is part of the Fall 2016 commemorative series entitled Voices of Terezín, dedicated to the legacy of the Jewish composers and artists held in Terezín, the Nazi concentration camp.

This event is part of the RAC Music Department calendar and is open to the public.
