Day of Action
The 2015-2016 Keene State College Symposium, Sustaining the American Dream: Public Education and the Common Good, has focused on education reform by addressing issues of social justice and inequality. There are many issues that challenge our communities, but most are the sum product of systems of inequalities. The children in our community are the most vulnerable to these challenges. The committee has tried to facilitate this conversation, and we do not want it to end at the close of the Symposium. Our final event is scheduled for April 15, 2016 at Keene State College. The goal is to help improve the lives of the children in our community by connecting Keene/Monadnock community groups and Keene State College groups. This lunch will be the final Symposium event of the year.
We hope Symposium presenters, individuals representing community, and campus organizations will join us for lunch and conversation. We want to create an opportunity for people to network, and discuss ways we can work together to address the issues that affect our community and our kids.
Since this event involves lunch, if you are interested in attending please contact John Sturtz (jsturtz@keene.,edu) to RSVP.
This event is part of the Symposium calendar.
To request accommodations for a disability, please contact the coordinator at least two weeks prior to the event.
