Sexual Assault Awareness Month Day of Action
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), the Keene State College community is invited to participate in our annual Day of Action. This initiative aims to promote awareness, education, and dialogue surrounding sexual violence and prevention.
Participants are encouraged to pick up a teal light and join us in “Turning Campus Teal,” a visual demonstration of solidarity with survivors and a collective commitment to fostering a safe and respectful campus environment. Teal, the color of sexual assault awareness, serves as a symbol of support and advocacy.
Start by Believing is a global public awareness initiative that promotes a simple but powerful message: when someone shares their experience, we listen, we support, and we start by believing. Participants will have the opportunity to take the Start by Believing Pledge.
