Reconciliation Work in Bosnia Today: A Conversation with the Center for Peacebuilding

Zoom Webinar
Thursday, · -

This webinar will focus on peacebuilding and reconciliation efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina following the Bosnian Genocide that occurred from 1992-1995. Guest speakers, Vahidin Omanovic and Mevludin Rahmanovic, co-founders of the Center for Peacebuilding, will explore how communities continue to navigate legacies of mass violence, trauma, and division. Drawing on their extensive experience working across ethic, religious, and political lines, they will discuss practical strategies for rebuilding trust and fostering dialogue in a post-conflict society. Situating Bosnia and Herzegovina within a broader global framework, the discussion will consider how lessons from their work can inform peacebuilding and reconciliation efforts in other regions affected by violent conflict.

This offering is free and open to everyone. Advanced registration is required.
