The Color of Our Lives

Redfern Arts Center
Saturday, · -

The play is about discovering one’s true purpose in life, women’s resilience and the power of creativity. The story straddles two realities. The reality of the world of Cáit set in Montreal in 1970 played by human characters and the reality of Catherine McCarthy during the years between 1840-1919 from Ireland to Canada. The characters in the world of Catherine are played by rod puppets. A shadow screen is used throughout the play to help the transition between the two realities.

The play is performed by the following students: Lauren Bin, Karen Cisneros, Caitlyn Costa, Julia Dube, Aaralyn Evans, Brad Herlihy, Min Miller, Alessandra Mitchenn, Cassandra Ricks, and Grace Venditto
