Faculty Recital: Megan Dillon, Saxophone

Keene State College saxophone professor Dr. Megan Dillon presents a recital of classic and modern works for the saxophone. Listeners will gain a new appreciation for the versatility and artistry of the instrument through a range of repertoire designed to showcase the saxophone at its finest.
Dr. Megan Dillon holds a doctorate in saxophone performance from New England Conservatory. Her dissertation, entitled 'Taming a Leviathan: A Performer’s Guide to Gunther Schuller’s Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra [1983]’ explores the performance and analytical challenges of Schuller’s immensely challenging twelve-tone concerto. Dr. Dillon shares her vast saxophone expertise with students in the saxophone studio, saxophone ensemble, and the woodwinds methods sequence at Keene State College.
