Women, Gender, and Sexuality During the Holocaust: How Historians Know What We Know
Join Carli Synder, Ph.D., as she explores the evolution of research on women, gender, and sexuality during the Holocaust, highlighting key scholars and methods that have shaped the field. The talk traces how scholars have developed historical knowledge about gender roles, sexual violence, gendered dimensions of resistance, and the roles of women as victims, bystanders, rescuers, collaborators, and perpetrators within the Nazi regime.
