Respondus LockDown Browser (registration required)

Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment in Canvas. When students use Lockdown Browser to take a quiz, they are unable to print, copy, visit other websites, access other applications, or close a quiz until it is submitted for grading.

This comprehensive training webinar is intended for instructors who plan to use LockDown Browser with online exams. The training will cover:

  • How to use LockDown Browser to prevent digital cheating in proctored testing environments
  • The student perspective using LockDown Browser
  • Best practices and tips for success

It is available for any KSC faculty to use but it is strongly recommended you attend training to learn best practices to avoid unnecessary pitfalls. Lockdown Browser is installed on all public computers in the Mason Library.
