Webinar: Nurturing Social Identity Development
Led by Dr. Dottie Morris
Our multiple identities effect our worldview, how we move through the world, make sense of the world, and how we interact with other. How do we as educators nurture our students with multiple identities? How do our own identities affect how we engage with students with other identities? We will examine two social identity development models. We’ll look at identity development stages, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors associated with each stage, plus strategies for working with individuals based on where they are in their own social identity development.
