Coming Out: A Safe Space Session

Zoom
Monday, · -

This semester, the Safe Space Committee is offering one-hour sessions to delve a bit deeper into four core concept areas to understand and support LGBTQ+ people on campus and beyond.

All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend one to all of these sessions to build upon whatever previous knowledge you have about LGBTQ+ identities and experiences.

For this session, we will focus on coming out. Participants will discuss the process of coming out and gain some best practices (dos and don’ts) when supporting someone else’s coming out process.
