Inspiring Conversations in Education (ICE) Conference
The Inspiring Conversations in Education (ICE) Conference is a half-day conference that provides a variety of workshops for current educators and education majors at Keene State College. This year, we will be hosting our conference virtually both synchronously and asynchronously using Zoom and Sched. This event is an amazing opportunity to learn more about the field of education from Keene State Alumni, local educators, current graduate students, and other community members.
Our 2021 ICE Conference theme for this year appropriately reflects on and considers the current state of education over the course of the past year: Resourceful Teachers Making a Difference In Students’ Lives: Inclusive, Caring, Engaged Teaching. This year's keynote speaker is Principal Deanna Zilske of Keene Middle School.
Kappa Delta Pi is one of the oldest honor societies at Keene State College, and Keene State is one of the earliest educational institutions in NH. The Keene State College alumni are the backbone of this conference. By incorporating Keene State College alumni into our conference, it has allowed us to provide a concrete example of how the Keene State College motto “Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve” is being used by our graduates on an everyday basis.
We hope you can join us for our 9th annual conference!
