The Department of Theatre and Dance presents the Directing II student's final directing projects! In this second round, they are presenting the works of student directors Jaden Rogers , Caroline Hentz , and Jean-Michael Pion.

The pieces performed are The Zoo Story by Edward Albee , directed by Jaden Rogers (Not available to view on Livestream); Love and Information by Caryl Churchill , directed by Caroline Hentz ; and 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane , directed by Jean-Michael Pion.

Love and Information by Caryl Churchill :

Three genderless entities, A, B, and C, set out to fathom humanity. Embodying over 100 different personas, they search for genuine connections in a society that is overloaded with information and misinformation. They discover the power of truth and life’s joyful moments.

4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane :

Explosive anger, glimmers of hope, paranoia, and consuming sadness fill the character’s minds as they struggle to exist in the world. Propelled to suicide by despair, our two nameless individuals search for clarity as they navigate the troubled waters of psychosis, clinical depression, and the mental health care system. Unable to break free from their restraints, suicide becomes the only escape.

The Zoo Story by Edward Albee :

The Zoo Story by Edward Albee invites an exploration of how isolation impacts one's behavior. Amid a pandemic, Albee's character's Jerry and Peter, search for potential human connection in the park. Unable to find solace, we witness two individuals trapped in a societal cage, as if animals in a zoo. (Not available to view via Livestream)
