Webinar: Supporting Student Engagement in Science and Engineering Practices in a Remote Learning World

I'll present a framework that will help youdevelop high-quality online materials to support students' learning of scienceand engineering practices (as well as their learning of science content). I'llprovide some examples of the framework in action. Also, I'll be offeringmultiple follow-up support sessions to provide targeted guidance for thoselooking to apply ideas to their specific classroom environments.

Audience: K-12 STEM teachers

Dr.Jacob Pleasants is an Assistant Professor of STEM Education at Keene StateCollege. He coordinates the secondary science teacher education program as wellas the STEM for Educators major. He taught high school science in the Midwestand has delivered professional development for elementary and secondary scienceteachers in Iowa and New Hampshire.
