Articulating skill-sets for remote or online teaching

In these sessions we invite faculty to reflect on your experience during the second half of the semester and compare notes with your colleagues about skills and strategies that you found especially useful, necessary, or that you were missing but wished you had for remote teaching. Together we will begin to build a shared knowledge base and these conversations will help inform further learning opportunities this summer to prepare for fall courses.

We will have two sessions, the first focused primarily on technology skills (with Canvas, Zoom, or other tools) and the second focused on strategies to use for remote or online teaching. Each session will be immediately followed by drop-in open office hours for anybody who would like to begin working to incorporate or apply new skills or strategies.

Followed by Open Office Hours 2:30-3:30pm

Join us to reflect and compare notes on strategies for engaging students in learning that you found particularly helpful, or wished that you had, for teaching remotely.

This event is part of the End of Year Faculty & Staff Enrichment calendar.
