"Can We Disagree and Still Be Friends?" Courageous Conversation

Mason Library - Cohen Center Gallery
Tuesday, · -

The primary purpose of these conversations is to foster skills among KSC community members in having civil discussions around contentious issues. The topic and content of the conversations is secondary. The prompts are intended to be engaging, provocative, and have multiple perspectives. Each conversation models civil discourse and invites participants to share their voices in a facilitated space, or to simply listen. Help our students and our community increase our capacity for civil discourse, create safe spaces for discussion of vital, contentious topics, and raise awareness of and insight around issues of concern to marginalized groups.
