Coming Out: A Safe Space Session

Cohen Center room 142 (inside Mason Library)
Tuesday, · -

New this semester, the Safe Space Committee is offering monthly, one-hour sessions to delve a bit deeper into some core concepts to understand and support LGBTQ+ people on campus and beyond.

All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend one to all of these sessions to build upon whatever previous knowledge you have about LGBTQ+ identities and experiences.

This month, we will focus on coming out. Participants will discuss the process of coming out and gain some best practices (dos and don’ts) when supporting someone’s coming out process.
