Concert Band
The theme of KSC’s first band concert of the 2018-2019 school year is “New Beginnings”. As a new chapter opens with a new band director, Dr. Joshua E. Long, we celebrate and anticipate the future while acknowledging and appreciating the past.
Selections include the somber and majestic “Blessed Are They” by Johannes Brahms, the lively “Florentiner March” by Julius Fucik, “New England Triptych” by William Schuman, “New Frontiers” by Karl King, and H. Owen Reeds’ majestic “La Fiesta Mexicana”. Themes range from the personal and national, the individual and the shared. Please join us at the Redfern Arts Center Thursday, November 1st at 7:30pm to be part of our New Beginnings!
