MERIT Awards, Honors, and Recognition

Giving students the recognition they deserve for their academic achievements

Keene State is now one of 500 institutions to use Merit, an online resource that allows us to give our students recognition for achievements such as making the Dean’s list, participating in community service projects, studying abroad, becoming a member of an organization, and much more. Through Merit we send news about your achievements to your hometown newspaper and publish the accomplishment online.

See Keene State’s Merit page for more student success stories.

Why is this important?

Along with displaying your achievements, you can also use you Merit Page for you job search. Merit lets employers view your achievements recognized with official college badges. A Merit page creates a positive online identity for post-graduation success. Many companies now research applicants online, and this is a great way to market yourself.

Your Merit page shows how your education prepares you for your professional career and makes you more attractive to employers. Claim your page when we prompt you by email and get the recognition you deserve!

For questions about Merit, please contact Antje Hornbeck at 358-2102.

How Merit Works

Students participate in events and activities around campus. We, the Keene State Marketing & Communications office, get a list of students who participate and write a short article about the event. Students involved receive an email with a link to view their story and badge online. They can connect via Facebook or Twitter and share their achievements with friends and family.
