International & Exchange Students

Keene State College is proud to welcome students from around the world and is committed to providing personalized support that helps each student succeed academically, socially, and culturally. The Global Education Office (GEO) works closely with campus partners to ensure international students that their transition to the United States and to Keene State is smooth, supportive, and successful.

GEO serves as the primary support system for international students and provides guidance throughout U.S. immigration process, including the issuance of Forms I-20 and DS-2019, as well as the F-1 and J-1 visa application processes. GEO also delivers a comprehensive arrival orientation and offers workshops on employment authorization and U.S. tax requirements to help students maintain their immigration status and understand important regulatory responsibilities.

Beyond immigration advising, GEO supports students through their academic and cultural adjustment by offering resources, programming, and individualized guidance. The Coordinator of Global Education takes pride in providing personalized support and meaningful opportunities that enrich students' academic, cultural, and personal experiences at Keene State College.

• International degree-seeking students: If you are applying to Keene State College as a full-degree international student, please contact the Admissions Office directly to begin your application process.
• Incoming exchange students: If you are joining KSC as an exchange student—either from one of our international partner universities or through the National Student Exchange - GEO will be your primary support office. Please note that all exchange students are required to live in on-campus housing, in double-occupancy rooms.

Campus Engagement & Community 

GEO staff also advise the Global Cultural Club, a student-led organization that celebrates diversity and promotes intercultural understanding through events, activities, and community engagement.
