Study Away Domestic Destinations

Study Away in the United States

Studying away within the United States and its territories is an enriching and attainable option for Keene State College students in good academic standing. Stay on track for graduation while exploring a new region, campus culture, and community—no passport required (and, depending on location, you can even drive).

Through domestic study away, you can:

  • Enroll at approved partner institutions across the U.S. and its territories
  • Earn KSC credit (if successfully completed) that may apply to your major, minor, and/or ISP
  • Pay the same tuition you pay to KSC, with most KSC financial aid and scholarships applicable
  • Access courses, internships, and service-learning opportunities not offered at KSC
  • Explore potential locations for future careers or graduate study

For study away eligibility requirements, costs, and application guidance, please refer to Applying to Study Away and Financing Study Away.

Application deadline for Spring 2026 is October 1, 2025.

Students across all majors can find professionally relevant, credit-bearing internship placements that support their academic and career goals.

KSC students have previously interned with organizations such as: the Democratic National Party, the Audubon Society, Slavery No More headquarters, the University of Chicago Office of Federal Relations and the Office of the Attorney General, among others.
