Disability Services

Welcome

The Office of Disability Services (ODS) is where students with documented disabilities can request accommodations provided under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, which enable equal access to College programs and activities.

New Students: Register with ODS

Step 1: Complete the Student Accommodation Request form and upload your documentation. Please refer to our Documentation Guidelines.

Step 2: Wait for a confirmation email with an invitation to make an appointment for an initial intake with ODS.

Step 3: Attend initial intake meeting to discuss possible accommodations and put in your formal semester request for accommodations. After this step, your faculty will be notified of your approved accommodations.

Step 4: Communication is key to your success! ODS does not monitor student performance. It is expected that if you are experiencing personal or academic difficulties that you will reach out to us and seek assistance. Our door is always open!

Current Students: Accommodations

Reasonable accommodations are adjustments or modifications made to a school policy, or specific supports or services provided to a student with a disability, that enable the student to participate in school programs, including academics, housing, and recreation.

Schedule your exam to be taken in ODS
ODS requires at least 3 BUSINESS DAYS advance notice of exams bookings. Failure to provide this notice may result in your exam booking request being declined. Please go through your syllabi and schedule your exams well in advance. Please view our Alternative Testing Policy.

Submit your semester accommodation requests Once logged in, please follow instructions on how to submit requests for your courses.
