Teaching Social Skills (EDUC-595)
Elementary school counselors are professional educators who, as part of a comprehensive guidance program implement a guidance curriculum that includes teaching social and emotional skills in the classroom. This course will explore 1) classroom management strategies 2) quick energizers and refocusing activities to use with students 3) social/emotional/career lesson planning and implementation. Meets 6/21 & 6/22.
