Redfern Presenting Series: Bala Brass

This concert features Keene State professor, trumpeter Seelan Manickam , and his award-winning group Bala Brass. Bala Brass is an electrifying brass ensemble committed to diverse, exciting programming and will showcase both new and well-known composers from Canada, USA, Germany, and Latin America, in addition to works by female composers.

Also performing with Bala is guest Keene State new faculty member, bass trombonist Travis Dobson. Bala will be in residency at the Redfern presenting talks on their new Latin American CD, Passports , as well as giving presentations, workshops and one-on-one lessons with Keene State College Music Department students.

KSC students will need to obtain their complimentary tickets in person at the Box Office rather than ordering online.
