KSC Concert Band "Our Reply"

Join the Keene State College Concert Band as they present prerecorded performances of repertoire studied—remotely and via hybrid learning—during the most challenging time in the group’s history: The Covid Pandemic of 2020. Students, faculty, staff, community members, and conductors worked tirelessly, collaboratively, and remotely to continue the study of high-quality literature for the wind ensemble. Through innovative technological and rehearsing techniques, the KSC Concert Band has continued to rehearse, record, and perform music by renowned composers Frank Ticheli, Morten Lauridsen, Charles Ives, and Leonard Bernstein. Despite the adversity of this year, and in reply to the immense tragedy of loss of human life, and with grateful hearts at our ability to continue to make music together, the Keene State College Concert Band has resolved, in the immortal words of Leonard Bernstein, “to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly, than ever before.”
