Heart of the Campus
The Zorn Dining Commons serves all-you-care-to-eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a large space with open floors, wrap-around balcony, and floor to ceiling windows. There are many menus to choose from daily at different food stations including the grill, salad bar, sauté station, vegan station, pizza bar, and more. Gluten-free and dairy-free dishes are marked and the DC (as the students call it) has dedicated areas for gluten-free breads and dairy-free milk alternatives. Executive Chef Troy Bellot is passionate about students’ wellbeing and is available to discuss personal nutrition goals and dietary needs you might have. (Chef Troy has been known to recreate family recipes for students who ask!) When you visit, don’t forget to add your plate scrapings to the marked compost bins as all food waste from this building is composted at an off-site facility that produces soil used on campus grounds.
