Effective 07/01/08, New Hampshsire law requires certain workers to have at least an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Card.
Effective 07/01/06, Massachusetts law requires certain workers to have at least an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Card.
Effective 07/01/07, Connecticut law requires certain workers to have at least an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Card. Go to Public Act 175 in 2006.
Rhode Island law, amended 07/30/04, requires certain workers to have at least an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Card. Go to Rhode Island Title 37, Public Property and Works, Chapter 37-23, Sections 37-23-1 to 37-23-12.

Today's OSHA
The U.S. Department of Labor - Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Keene State College join forces to offer the OSHA New England Training Institute Education Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. The OSHA Training Institute Education Center is one of only 20 training facilities nationwide that OSHA has authorized to deliver its courses.
These short-term courses are offered through the Keene State College Office of Continuing Education. Participants acquire technical occupational safety and health training and knowledge of OSHA standards, policies, and procedures. The Center's training courses are attended by professionals in the business and industrial communities of New England who are responsible for complying with or directly supporting the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
Upon completion of a program, participants receive a U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA, course completion certificate. Students attending OSHA courses 500 and 501 receive authorized 10- and 30-hour outreach trainer cards. Continuing education units (CEU's) provided for all courses.
Experienced professionals can teach at your facility any of the courses developed by the OSHA Training Institute or Keene State College listed
in this catalog, or we can design custom courses that meet your specifc training needs in most topics pertaining to:

OSHA Courses for Construction and General Industry
OSHA outreach courses are designed for people responsible for complying with or directly supporting the Occupational Safety and Health Act. These 10- and 30-hour courses are an introduction to OSHA CFRs as they apply to construction or general industry. Participants completing these courses receive the appropriate OSHA 10- or 30-hour course card.
These courses are a part of the OSHA Education Center located in the Manchester Safety Center in Manchester, New Hampshire.

On-Line Training
10 & 30 hour Construction Standards Courses
Currently the 30-hour on-line training course is sufficient to OSHA DTE for documentation of prerequisites to attend the Trainer Course in Construction ~ This may not continue to be the case in 2008. Please inquire prior to enrolling in an on-line program. Other pre-requisites for Trainer status exist. Ensure you are aware of all requirements before signing up for any on-line program.

Payment can be made online using VISA, MasterCard, or American Express.
Please note that the tuition for the Ten-Hour course is $150-per-person, and the tuition for the Thirty-Hour course is $290-per-person. Students have up to six months to complete either course online.
