About Anne Frank (ITW-101)

The course will consider what has made The Diary of Anne Frank an iconic text. What is the diary's context in World War II and the Holocaust? How has the text been used since the Holocaust? What can thinkers and writers learn about difference, otherness, and people's responsibilities to one another through reflecting analytically upon Anne Frank, her diary, and the representations of both since the Holocaust?
