Vietnam War (HIST-490)

The Vietnam War was a touchstone event that continues to divide Americans and influence foreign policy. This seminar will emphasize discussion, research, and writing. We will examine the historiography of the war, the foreign policy and domestic political concerns that influenced policy decisions, the anti- war protest movement, the experiences of combatants, perspectives from Vietnam, and the evolution of the war in public memory.
