Terrorism- Workplace& World (SAFE-495)

This course will explore the concepts of terrorism in the world, our nation and in our own work place. We will look at the history of terrorism globally and home grown. We will discover what are the real true threats that are surfacing in America, our workplace and who is behind them. We will discuss all types of WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) their definitions, and behavior. We will discuss how these weapons can be used against us. We will study tactics terrorists incorporate both on an international level and at the domestic level. You will learn how to react to and report potential terrorist's threats. The fundamentals of making your work place secure and safe will also be discussed. And lastly, you will learn how the private sector can work with and help local public agencies.
