Exploring RTI @ Secondary Lvl (NCESC-290)
The RTI Challenge: Implementing an RTI/ Multi-tiered System of Support at the Secondary Level. Middle schools and high schools across the country are actively working to improve academic skills and post graduate outcomes for the students they serve. However, 25-30% of students entering 9th grade have academic difficulties and are scoring below proficient. This session will address how to implement an RTI framework while maintaining a focus on the New Hampshire College and Career Readiness Standards and course competencies. Examples will be provided to illustrate how school teams can work together to develop and sustain an MTSS model that meets the needs of students in their school to improve outcomes.
